We are back with yet another RAW AVOCADO VEGAN PIE. We just cannot have enough of it it is so delisshhh! Avocado and Matcha green tea powder really go well together and are packed with nourishment: good fats in avocados and super antioxidants in Matcha green tea makes you wonder whether you are eating a dessert or treating your body to some really healthy goodness? Well we opt for both! We truly stayed true to our motto of quick, healthy and delicious with this dessert. It is a major plus that this dessert satisfies vegan, Paleo and gluten free eaters as well!

Let us dive right into how to make it!

How to make the crust:

Ingredients: 1 cup ground walnuts, 1 cup shredded coconut flakes, 1 tbsp cocoa powder.

Put all ingredients into blender. Scrape the sides of the blender and blend until you get a smooth paste. Once blended, spread it evenly on the bottom of an 6 inch silicone baking dish.

How to make the avocado filling:

Ingredients: 1.5 cup organic full fat coconut milk with the cream on top, 1 ripe avocado, 3 tsp agave or brown rice syrup,

Place all ingredients in the blender and blend together until smooth. Spread it on top of the  crust and freeze for 5 hours.

Once ready to serve top with fresh blueberries and blackberries.

Avocado ice cream

In case you are not yet convinced, avocados make excellent desserts,  because it is rich in good fats and has a pretty neutral taste. The extra nourishment of avocados makes it an even better choice to make guilt free desserts with it! Avocados are  excellent for ice cream or popsicles and the kids will never guess it is healthy too!
For this recipe, we made the avocado base and added 3 different flavors: Matcha green tea, lime-mint and chocolate. Cheers to a favorite dessert recipe just as we like it: easy to make, quick and oh so good!
Preparing the base:
Ingredients:
1.5 cup full fat coconut cream
2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup sweetener (maple, agave or brown rice syrup)
Preparation:
Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. That is all! it won't get easier than this!
Separate base to 3 equal parts and add the different flavors:
1. 1 tsp Matcha powder
2. 2 tsp cocoa 
3. juice of one lime and fresh chopped mint.
Freeze it for 6-8 hours before serving. Enjoy and don't forget to share and not eat it all by yourself!

Ingredient list:

15 medijool dates pitted

2 heaping spoons of cashew butter

3 tsp agave syrup or honey

2 tsp matcha powder

2 tsp avocado oil

1 tsp cocoa powder

Topping: unsweetened shredded coconut and Matcha powder for dusting, rolling .

Blend in the blender until becomes a smooth paste. Spoon out out form into balls. Roll it in shredded coconut and matcha powder.
